The Green Team held its annual gathering at West Chester Friends Meeting, under the title of “Celebrating Sunshine,” with interesting environmental displays, art works by Stephen Marvin and Rachel Davis, and a tasty dinner from Mae’s. Thanks to The Master’s Baker for the beautifully nature-decorated cake, to Lewis Barnard for donating the apples, to Mateo Niiler for musical accompaniment, and to Karen Slossburg, Anna Sechrist, and their team for keeping the food moving. Congratulations to Margaret Hudgings, honored for her many contributions as the Green Team’s first and only past president, to commissioner Josh Maxwell for his Environmental Leadership Award, and to John Suplee as winner of this year’s Philip Jamison Art & Nature Award.
