Self-guided walking tour of a dozen West Chester Borough gardens, emphasizing pollinators and including some veggies, visible from the sidewalk, June 25 – July 5, from 10 a.m. to sunset daily.
See maps of the northern and southern routes with addresses and garden descriptions HERE through July 5.
This free tour includes a scavenger hunt. At each location a Green Man or Woman is hidden (please locate visually, not by going into gardens!).
This is the Green Team’s third annual garden tour. The 2019 version was in-person; in 2020 we moved to video interviews of gardeners in their own gardens, which you can still see here; and the current two-week self-guided sidewalk tour is our 2021 version.
Sponsored by the West Chester Green Team, Ready for 100, Don’t Spray Me!, Plastic-Free Please, Chester County Citizens for Climate Protection, WC Tree Team and West Chester Area Transition–Living Landscapes.
